Memorandum of Cooperation between the Financial Audit Authority and Dubai Courts for the Exchange of Knowledge

The Dubai Financial Audit Authority and Dubai Courts have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two parties. This agreement reflects their commitment to strengthening the bonds of mutual cooperation, ensuring effective justice, and maintaining continuous communication and interaction to achieve common interests that serve the targeted groups. It aims to regulate the partnership between them within an institutional framework that works towards enhancing collaboration in the areas of consultation and training, with a focus on utilizing human resources to enhance capabilities, uphold the rule of law, and consolidate the achievements stemming from Dubai's prestigious position, both locally and globally, in all fields.

 

 

 

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, Director-General of Dubai Courts, and His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Harb, Director-General of the Dubai Financial Audit Authority. Both parties emphasized their commitment to utilizing the available resources optimally and adhering to best practices that ensure the highest level of quality. The agreement aligns with the efforts of both parties to strengthen their strategic partnership, make the best use of their existing resources and expertise, and contribute to shaping an optimal model of collaboration between government institutions. This collaboration will ultimately reflect in the development of services provided by both entities for the benefit of individuals and institutions within the community.

 


Furthermore, the agreement stipulates the development and enhancement of the relationship between the two parties through the transfer of knowledge in the field of financial expertise, accounting, international auditing standards, and providing necessary advice and recommendations in terms of supervision to elevate the performance level of the government and entities subject to international standards. It also involves organizing training courses to enhance and ensure effective accountability, sound management practices in the best interest of the shared vision, which leads to improving operational performance, streamlining procedures, and enhancing services for stakeholders in both entities.

 

 

 

Additionally, the agreement emphasizes cooperation and participation in delivering distinguished judicial and legal services to ensure the rule of law through qualified national personnel, within the framework of effective collaboration with all relevant entities. This is achieved by providing comprehensive legal services to all categories of users through an integrated digital platform for electronic and mutual digital procedures. The aim is to establish electronic connectivity of judicial systems with all government entities, working towards achieving efficient and accessible justice characterized by accuracy, speed, and providing user-friendly judicial services for everyone.

 

 

 

In response to the signing of the agreement, His Excellency Tarish Al Mansouri, Director-General of Dubai Courts, expressed his satisfaction with the strategic and fruitful cooperation with the Dubai Financial Audit Authority in the field of training. He also emphasized the responsibility to train the human resources and equip them with the necessary tools to become active partners in shaping the future. He affirmed that the department places high importance on entering into partnership relationships, highlighting that such strategic partnerships aim to establish principles of governance and enhance the efficiency of individuals working in the legal, judicial, and audit fields. Furthermore, he emphasized that these partnerships contribute to unifying the efforts of the relevant parties and serve as a conduit for knowledge transfer in the fields of financial expertise, accounting, and international auditing standards to enhance the performance level of the government and entities in line with global standards.

 

 

 

Al Mansouri further explained that the memorandum covers various vital areas in which the Dubai Financial Audit Authority possesses extensive expertise and diverse capabilities. He emphasized that Dubai Courts aspire to benefit from these experiences and capabilities, which would contribute to the development of their operations and enhance the services provided to the community. This aligns with the concerted efforts of both parties to continuously improve their performance.

 

 

 

In response, His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Harb, Director-General of the Dubai Financial Audit Authority, emphasized the importance of this joint cooperation and the role of the audit body in safeguarding public funds and combating corruption. He stated, "At the Dubai Financial Audit Authority, we are committed to collaborating with prominent institutions such as Dubai Courts to enhance the principles of accountability, transparency, integrity, and the rule of law among all segments of society. We all work under the umbrella of the law, and we will contribute with all our capabilities to provide the necessary knowledge and benefit from the extensive expertise of Dubai Courts. This collaboration aims to contribute to the development of human resources, serving our country and society legally, judicially, and regulatory-wise."
