Dubai Courts Ink Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Tech, Pledging to Amplify Digital Transformation

Dubai Courts have forged a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Tech. This move marks a significant step towards accelerating the development of the court system in the realm of digital transformation and technological solutions. This initiative reflects a commitment to deploying innovative technological solutions, thereby bolstering efficiency and effectiveness within Dubai Courts.The signing was attended by His Excellency prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, and His Excellency Judge Abdul Qader Musa, President of the Court of Cassation. 

 

On the occasion of the signing of the Memorandum between Dubai Courts and Emirates Tech, His Excellency prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, expressed his pleasure, stating, “We are delighted today to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Tech to support digital transformation in our judicial system and re-engineer processes and procedures. This step reflects our steadfast commitment to achieving the highest levels of efficiency and transparency in delivering justice, accelerating procedures, and raising the satisfaction levels of beneficiaries from the digitisation of judicial services."

 

He further emphasised his delight that this collaboration represents a strategic step reflecting their vision in the path of continuous growth and modernisation. He added that digital transformation is an integral part of their journey towards achieving innovation to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system.

 

The agreement was signed on behalf of Dubai Courts by Mr. Ibrahim Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Notary Public and Settlement and Execution Sector. He clarified that the main objective of the Memorandum is to summarise the analysis and understanding of the processes, procedures, services, and appropriate technological solutions suitable for the current and future requirements of both parties to drive the wheel of digital transformation in Dubai Courts. 

 

Mr. Al Hosani pointed out the importance of the Memorandum in studying and analysing the operational technical systems of Dubai Courts and studying the requirements of Dubai Courts from technological projects and the technical transformation plan for systems, databases, artificial intelligence, and future projects in accordance with the aspirations of the government towards reducing procedural bureaucracy and raising the concept of re-engineering it electronically.
