Dubai is a fantastic city with a huge list of things tourists can do whilst on holiday there. There is everything from galleries, cultural institutions, and fantastic shops to opportunities to do some unique activities, such as taking a plunge in the deepest pool in the world and standing on the top of a glass skyscraper. With so many things you can do in Dubai as a tourist, it can take a lot of work to decide what to fit into your time there. Below we will go through some of the most popular things people love to do on a visit to Dubai.

Aura Skypool

First up on this list is the Aura Skypool, the world’s highest infinity pool with 360-degree views of the breathtaking city of Dubai. The sky pool sits on the 50th floor of the Palm Tower and looks onto the world-famous Burj Al Arab and the Gulf and The Palm. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind and cool down in Dubai's blistering heat, you have to visit the Aura Skypool.

It is one of the best places in the entire city to get a fantastic view of Dubai and see the impressive skyline. You can pick up tickets for a dip in the Aura Skypool for around $46 for each person and choose between three different sessions throughout the day. The Aura Skypool is exceptionally luxurious and is perfect for those who want their vacation to Dubai to be high-class. To make the entire trip as elegant as the travel, many visitors opt to use a private jet charter to be as comfortable as possible on their way to and from Dubai.

Jumeirah Mosque

Next up is the Jumeirah Mosque, which is the only mosque in all of Dubai that is open to visitors that are not Muslim. For this reason, this mosque has been photographed the most out of all mosques in Dubai. The architecture of this mosque is magnificent, made from white stone in the medieval style of Fatmid.

One of the best times of day to visit this mosque is at dusk, as the sun sets and disappears behind the fantastic building. Suppose you think this is something that you might be interested in visiting. In that case, it is essential to know that the Jumeirah Mosque is open six days out of the week, and you can book tours that give you an interesting insight into the history and culture of the mosque.

Deep dive Dubai

If you are seeking more of an adrenaline rush on your holiday to Dubai, a trip to the deepest pool in the world for a dive will be perfect for you. The collection is 60 meters in depth and has a city submerged at the pool floor for divers to explore. The pool has 14 million litres of water and is suitable for experienced divers and those who are not. If you do not have a diving certificate, you can still experience diving in the pool.

You can dive to around 12 meters using scuba-diving equipment; if you don’t want to do that, you can snorkel on the surface instead. The only requirement for those who want to do this is to be over ten years old. Something unique about this dive pool is the 56 cameras scattered throughout the collection, which can create different environments as you swim down to the bottom. This is a one-in-a-lifetime experience and something you must do if you have the opportunity. If you do want to experience the deepest pool in the world, then you will need to buy tickets which can be found online.

Al Marmoom Camel Race Track

When people think of Dubai and the middle east, there are usually thoughts of hot deserts and things like camels. At the Al Marmoom Camel Race Track, you can experience both of these things whilst watching camels race. Many people have seen greyhounds or horses race; however, camel racing is something you can’t see every day, making this experience so memorable. If you think this is something you would be interested in seeing, then you should know that the races go on quite early, between 7 am and 9 am.

Dubai is a beautiful and unique city that allows you to see and do things that you wouldn’t be able to do anywhere else in the world. It is a good idea to plan what you want to do so you aren’t left leaving the city at the end of the holiday feeling like you missed out on some things you wanted to do.
