With temperatures cooling down and more people ready to enjoy the outdoors, Snapchat has confirmed its two new Spectacles styles, Nico and Veronica, are now available in exclusive retail outlets in the UAE. Spectacles are Snapchat’s popular camera sunglasses designed to make it easy to capture your world, the way you see it.

Snapchat has partnered with Lime Concepts to bring the new designer Spectacles (Nico) and Spectacles (Veronica) to Virgin megastores across the UAE in addition Jumbo Electronics. The Spectacles can be purchased at a price of AED 879.99, including a stylish protective case and charging cable.

With the introduction of Nico and Veronica, Snap is excited to offer more choice within the Spectacles 2 family, and two frame options that look and feel like premium, classic eyewear. Both designs come in glossy black-on-black and now have polarized lenses, combining form and function to create the brand’s most fashionable hands-free camera to date.

Veronica and Nico capture a day’s worth of videos on a single charge, are water resistant, are equipped with dual-microphones for high quality audio capture, and store hundreds of Snaps at a time thanks to their built-in memory. The company’s new, semi-soft protective case is also more portable than ever. As always, Spectacles have an LED indicator light which illuminates when Nico and Veronica are recording or capture a photo.

With Spectacles on, there is no need to pull out your phone. Just tap the button at the temple to take HD photos or videos. When you’re ready, Snaps transfer in seconds to your Snapchat, or you can export your Snaps as circular, horizontal, or square photo and video formats for saving, editing and sharing anywhere.

Later this fall, a new Snapchat feature will also begin rolling out designed to automatically curate Specs Snaps from your adventure into a Highlight Story. After a long day wearing Specs, this feature will make it simpler and faster to find your favourite moments to save and share.
