Rüya Riyadh launches new business lunch serving authentic Anatolian flavours

Inviting diners to take a break from the office or seize the day with a leisurely lunch with loved ones, Rüya Riyadh has launched its enticing new business lunch. Located in the heart of the Saudi capital’s bustling AlDabab neighbourhood, the modern yet traditional new restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a mid-day escape, offering a delectable three-course feast showcasing the very best of Anatolian cuisine. Available from 1 June, the new menu takes guests on a journey to the Anatolian peninsula – largely modern-day Türkiye – with a line-up of classic and contemporary fare and bold and fresh flavours.

Priced from SAR135 per person, diners can choose from a wide selection of the trendy new restaurant’s most celebrated dishes, including zeytinyagli enginar (grilled artichoke with pomegranate and pine nuts), acılı kanat (chilli grilled chicken wings with marash pepper) and crispy börek (warm filo wrapped feta with carrot, courgette and walnut).

Four hearty mains are then available to choose from: the signature sucuk pide ( 2 cheese pide with homemade sucuk), adana kebap (hand-cut lamb and burnt tomato), güveç (clay pot vegetables in a tomato and red pepper sauce) and Şiş tavuk (yoghurt and chilli marinated grilled chicken). Mains are served with a generous portion of either caput pilaf – with lamb meat, pickled grapes and vine leaves –, fragrant steamed jasmine rice and a choice of tea or coffee. Those looking to make their lunch a leisurely and indulgent affair can also add a dessert for an extra SAR40. Moreish desserts include fırın sütlaç (Anatolian rice pudding, raspberries, rose ice cream and lokum) and sticky hazelnut baklava with whipped kaymak, caramelised milk sorbet and cinnamon.

Opened in May 2023, Rüya is one of the most exciting new additions to the Saudi capital, a collaboration between d.ream (Doğuş Restaurant Entertainment and Management) and Saudi’s MJS Holding. Alongside its cuisine, Rüya also transports guests to the peninsula with its beautifully designed restaurant – boasting an open kitchen, organic materials, stylish jewel tones and greenery-filled dining spaces and terraces - reminiscent of the lush landscapes of Anatolia. With its name translating to ‘dream’ in Turkish, Rüya Riyadh’s business lunch transforms traditional lunches into a magnificent midday occasion.
