Dammam Airports says KFIA witnesses 17% rise in H1 2023

Dammam Airports Company (DACO) stated that the number of passengers at King Fahd International Airport (KFIA) witnessed a 17% year-on-year (YoY) growth by end of H1 2023, reaching more than 5 million passengers, according to an official tweet.

 

 

 

Similarly, the number of flights rose by 14% YoY in H1 2023, exceeding 46,000 flights.

 

 

 

The number of companies operating in aviation increased by about five new airlines that joined the airport during 2023, reaching 42 airlines (three national and 39 international).

 

 

 

It indicated that the number of destinations witnessed a rise of about 12 destinations (two domestic and 10 international) in 2023, bringing the total number of destinations to 62 direct destinations (12 domestic and 46 international).
